NOTE: FINRA rules 2 provide that chairpers<strong>on</strong> shall receive $375.00 <strong>for</strong> a singlesessi<strong>on</strong> and $700 <strong>for</strong> each double sessi<strong>on</strong> <strong>on</strong> the permanent injuncti<strong>on</strong>, whilepanelists shall receive $300 <strong>for</strong> each single sessi<strong>on</strong> and $600 <strong>for</strong> each doublesessi<strong>on</strong>. The Rule provides that the parties shall equally pay the differencebetween regular and the injunctive relief h<strong>on</strong>orarium 3 and that the arbitrators mayreallocate this additi<strong>on</strong>al amount am<strong>on</strong>g the parties in the award. Thisincreased h<strong>on</strong>orarium applies <strong>on</strong>ly to hearings <strong>for</strong> permanent injuncti<strong>on</strong>and does not apply to Pre-hearing c<strong>on</strong>ferences or additi<strong>on</strong>al hearings <strong>on</strong>damages or other issues.FINRA rules 4 provides that the parties shall jointly bear an arbitrator’s reas<strong>on</strong>abletravel-related costs and expenses <strong>for</strong> required travel to a hearing locati<strong>on</strong> otherthan the arbitrator’s primary hearing locati<strong>on</strong>(s).
