Bellerbys College Programme InformationA Level Oxford, Cambridge& Medical Interview PreparationTop A Level students in 2012Specialist preparation for Oxford,Cambridge and/or medical schoolBellerbys students are accepted by theelite British universities – the Universitiesof Oxford and Cambridge, and by medicalschools. For these exceptional students,we provide extra, dedicated preparation.Oxford and Cambridge preparationIf you have exceptional academic ability,you may want to apply to Oxford orCambridge University. These institutionsare amongst the most competitive in theworld. To give you the best chance, as wellas excellent academic qualifications, wewill provide you with specialist preparation,which may include:• Regular formal discussions aboutcurrent affairs, news and events todevelop cultural enrichment andcommunication skills• Continuous assessment of work progressin homework, tests and examinations tomaintain required standards• Preparation for university face-to-faceinterviews, which includes theopportunity to discuss interviewtechniques and meet former Bellerbysstudents now at Oxford or Cambridge• Additional classes in Maths, Economicsand Physics for students applying forthese subjects and who may have to takea STEP (Sixth Term Examination Paper) orthe AEA (Advanced Extension Award).Oxford and Cambridge Scholarships6 scholarships are available worth60% of tuition fees for students to studya 6 or 5 term A Level programme at oneof the Bellerbys centres in 2013.
