(x)more than one Respondent, the Named Investigator shall <strong>in</strong><strong>for</strong>m each <strong>in</strong>dividualseparately and not divulge the identity <strong>of</strong> any other Respondent. A summary <strong>of</strong>the allegations <strong>in</strong> writ<strong>in</strong>g shall be given to the Respondent (and his/herrepresentative by agreement) at the meet<strong>in</strong>g, together with a copy <strong>of</strong> the<strong>Procedure</strong> to be used and the timeframe <strong>of</strong> the <strong>in</strong>vestigation.This <strong>Procedure</strong> aligns with the College’s Whistleblow<strong>in</strong>g policy. In accordancewith that policy, the allegation and identity <strong>of</strong> the Compla<strong>in</strong>ant will be keptconfidential so far as is reasonably possible by the Named Person/NamedInvestigator until any Formal Investigation is launched, save <strong>for</strong> the provisions <strong>in</strong>paragraphs 22.4.6 – 22.4.9 above.23.1.5 Stage Three: Screen<strong>in</strong>g(i)The Named Investigator shall ensure that all relevant <strong>in</strong><strong>for</strong>mation and evidenceare secured, so that any <strong>in</strong>vestigation conducted under this <strong>Procedure</strong> canhave access to them. This may <strong>in</strong>clude, but is not limited to:a. Secur<strong>in</strong>g all relevant records, materials and locations associated with thework, copies <strong>of</strong> which shall be provided to the Respondentb. Liais<strong>in</strong>g with Human Resources and the relevant l<strong>in</strong>e manager(s) to: Request the temporary suspension <strong>of</strong> the Respondent from duties onfull pay Request the temporary barr<strong>in</strong>g <strong>of</strong> the Respondent from part, or all, <strong>of</strong>the premises <strong>of</strong> the College and any <strong>of</strong> the sites <strong>of</strong> any partnerorganisation(s); and/or Request a temporary restriction be placed on the Respondent requir<strong>in</strong>ghim/her not to have contact with some or all <strong>of</strong> the staff <strong>of</strong> the Collegeand those <strong>of</strong> any partner organisation(s)(ii)(iii)(iv)Such actions shall only be taken where there is a clear risk to <strong>in</strong>dividuals orthat evidence might be destroyed, and will take <strong>in</strong>to account the Respondent’sresponsibilities <strong>for</strong> supervision, teach<strong>in</strong>g and management. A review <strong>of</strong> anysuch action will be taken throughout the <strong>Procedure</strong> to ensure that it is notunnecessarily protracted. The implementation <strong>of</strong> this stage <strong>of</strong> the <strong>Procedure</strong>does not imply guilt.Once <strong>in</strong>itiated the <strong>Procedure</strong> will progress to the natural end-po<strong>in</strong>t irrespective<strong>of</strong>:a. The Compla<strong>in</strong>ant withdraw<strong>in</strong>g the allegations at any stageb. The Respondent admitt<strong>in</strong>g, or hav<strong>in</strong>g admitted, the alleged misconduct, <strong>in</strong>full or <strong>in</strong> partc. The Respondent or the Compla<strong>in</strong>ant resign<strong>in</strong>g, or hav<strong>in</strong>g alreadyresigned, his/her postAll contributions to the process <strong>of</strong> screen<strong>in</strong>g will be recorded and ma<strong>in</strong>ta<strong>in</strong>ed<strong>for</strong> subsequent use. As part <strong>of</strong> the Screen<strong>in</strong>g Stage the Named Investigatorwill:a. Review the submission and support<strong>in</strong>g evidence provided by theCompla<strong>in</strong>antb. Review the evidence and support<strong>in</strong>g documentation from the Respondentc. Review any background <strong>in</strong><strong>for</strong>mation relevant to the allegationsd. Interview the Respondent, the Compla<strong>in</strong>ant and other <strong>in</strong>dividuals whomight provide relevant <strong>in</strong><strong>for</strong>matione. Produce a report <strong>of</strong> the f<strong>in</strong>d<strong>in</strong>gs <strong>of</strong> the Screen<strong>in</strong>g Stage
