Participation in clinical trials:
Prof. Angermann has published scientific reports on many aspects of clinical heart failure research. A
major focus of her research is heart transplantation and, more recently, network-based care of heart
failure patients. She has been the principle Investigator in multiple diagnostic and therapeutic
multicenter studies (EFICAT, IMPROVED, SonoVue etc.). Currently, she is coordinating investigator in
the ongoing INH (Integrated network heart failure) and Handheld-BNP-Study of the BMBF-funded
German Heart Failure Network.
