Effects of Noise onWildlifeThe <strong>Institute</strong> will host a conferenceon the effects of noise on wildlife inAugust of this year. The conferencewill be held in Happy Valley-GooseBay. The objective is to review thepresent state of knowledge on theimpact of noise on animals in theirnatural habitat. It is hoped thateminent scientists from around theglobe will gather in Labrador todiscuss the impact of noise onwildlife <strong>and</strong> in particular aircraftinduced noise.
