Millathane 5004 had better heat resistance than Zetpol 2030L and slightly deficient heat resistance than Zetpol 2000L and 2020L. The deficiency is with higherpercent elongation losses, but the absolute levels of elongation with heat aged Millathane 5004 was still higher than that for the HNBR polymers.2. Blends of the polymers generally showed that the replacement of 30 phr of HNBR with Millathane 5004 gave improved heat aging when Zetpol 2030L wasthe HNBR, and roughly comparable heat aged properties when Zetpol 2000L and 2020L were the HNBR polymers.tlj 40263_HNBR_M5004_Copy.xls 7/16/2004 Page 3 of 12
