To classify <str<strong>on</strong>g>BI</str<strong>on</strong>g>-<str<strong>on</strong>g>RADS</str<strong>on</strong>g> 3, 4 <str<strong>on</strong>g>and</str<strong>on</strong>g> 5 Lesi<strong>on</strong>s at <strong>US</strong> into five <strong>categories</strong> according toimaging-pathologic correlati<strong>on</strong>.2. To describe <str<strong>on</strong>g>and</str<strong>on</strong>g> illustrate their <strong>US</strong> <str<strong>on</strong>g>and</str<strong>on</strong>g> pathologic features.3. To discuss the diagnostic efficacy <str<strong>on</strong>g>and</str<strong>on</strong>g> the interpretati<strong>on</strong> pitfalls.2. Background<str<strong>on</strong>g>BI</str<strong>on</strong>g>-<str<strong>on</strong>g>RADS</str<strong>on</strong>g> lexic<strong>on</strong> for breast s<strong>on</strong>ography had been applied to st<str<strong>on</strong>g>and</str<strong>on</strong>g>ardize the characterizati<strong>on</strong> ofs<strong>on</strong>ographic <str<strong>on</strong>g>lesi<strong>on</strong>s</str<strong>on</strong>g>. Many studies have assessed the utility of s<strong>on</strong>ographic features indistinguishing benign from malignant <str<strong>on</strong>g>lesi<strong>on</strong>s</str<strong>on</strong>g>. Several study found that descriptors from thes<strong>on</strong>ographic <str<strong>on</strong>g>BI</str<strong>on</strong>g>-<str<strong>on</strong>g>RADS</str<strong>on</strong>g> lexic<strong>on</strong> can be useful in differentiating benign from malignant solidmasses. However, there has been the discrepancy between the final clinical outcome of<str<strong>on</strong>g>BI</str<strong>on</strong>g>-<str<strong>on</strong>g>RADS</str<strong>on</strong>g> Category 3, 4 <str<strong>on</strong>g>and</str<strong>on</strong>g> 5 for diagnostic s<strong>on</strong>ography.3.
