As illustrated in Fig. 13, model treated with α-lipoic acid has amore uniformed distribution of skin cells. The granule containing cells are aligned in a flatmonolayer. In contrast, the granule containing cell was hardly visible in controlled model.This suggested that α-lipoic acid promotes healthy skin turnover and promote skin suppleness.13
