n e W ssCÉalana nGaelDHÁ SHEIRBHÍS GHAEILGE a bheidhagainn an mhí seo: (1) An ChomaoineachNaofa ar 8.30 ar maidin an Dara Domhnach,13 Feabhra, i Séipéal Choláiste OideachaisEaglais na hÉireann (Chapel of Church ofIreland College of Education), 96 Bóthar RáthMaonais Uachtarach (Upper Rathmines Road),Baile Átha Cliath 6. (2) An ChomaoineachNaofa ar a cúig a chlog tráthnóna an 27Feabhra (Ceathrú Domhnach) in ArdTeampallCríost i lár na cathrach.STAIDÉAR AR AN mBÍOBLA: An mhí seocaite, luaigh mé go ndeireann roinnt daoinego bhfuil sleachta áirithe sa Bhíobla agcomhbhréagnú a chéile. I mbeagán focal, nífíor sin: aineolas nó míthuiscint is bun leis deghnáth, fiú amháin nuair is scoláire mór nóeolaí léannta a mhaíonn é.Lena chois sin, bíonn easnamh eolais igceist go minic: ní féidir leis an duine isléannta eolas iomlán a bheith aige ar chuileshórt dá mbaineann leis an mBíobla – nó leisan saol seo ach oiread. Agus ní annamh gurleor píosa amháin breise eolais nófionnachtain amháin breise a thugann eolasnach raibh ag na scoláirí cheana chun anpictiúr a athrú ó bhonn agus fírinne anBhíobla a dhearbhú.Sampla simplí is ea na véarsaí a deir gurDia trócaireach É an Dia seo againne. Ach távéarsaí eile ann a thabharfadh le fios gur Diagan trócaire É. An comhbhréagnú é sin? Nóan amhlaidh nach ionann É Dia antSeanTiomna (Old Testament) agus Dia anTiomna Nua?Dar ndóigh, tá réiteach simplí ar an gceistseo. Mura mbeadh Dia trócaireach lepeacaigh, ní mhairfeadh aon duine againnbeo mar is peacach gach duine againn. Ach táteorainn le foighne Dé agus, an peacach nachmbíonn aithríoch (repentant) ina pheacaí,daortar é luath nó mall.COMÓRTAS NA NOLLAG 2010: Is íRuth Ní Ghearrabhríd, f/ch 28 CasánBaitsiléir, Baile Átha Cliath 1, a bhuaigh anÉarlais Leabhar ar E10-00. Chuir mé ancheist shimplí seo oraibh: “Cén fáth gurtháinig Íosa Críost ar an saol?” Ba é freagraRuth “Is fírinne iontaofa an ráiteas é gurtháinig Íosa Críost ar an saol le peacaigh ashlánú.” (1 Timótéus 1:15).Fuair mé freagra an-mhaith eile bunaithear Eoin 10:10, ach bhí sé ró-fhada le cur igcló sa cholún seo: seanmóir bheag de dháchéad focal a bhí ann!BÍGÍ AG GUÍ don MheánOirthear agusd’Éirinn is léigí an Bíobla gach lá.BEANNACHT DÉ ORAIBH!R.
