To date, about 130,000young people in Singapore have been motivated to undertake avariety of voluntary and challenging activities.Beyond the joy of receiving the NYAA Gold Award, Sherlyn feltthat she had become a more confident person through herparticipation in the various activities. It also made her realise themeaning of kindness and true happiness: “…it is not alwaysthrough big things that bring peace and happiness, but by thesmall acts of kindness we do for those around us.
