It works closelywith students and experts frominternational entrepreneurs’consortiums, social enterprises,institutes, universities andgovernments to promote theconcept <strong>of</strong> social enterprise,cultivate social responsibility,support students’ start-ups andprovide training.WEAVER’s activities includeentering social entrepreneurshipcompetitions and coordinatinginteractive platforms, forumsand mentoring camps as well asconsultancy projects.Enactus UNNC is a non-pr<strong>of</strong>itstudent organisation which bringstogether students, academicsand business leaders who arecommitted to using the power <strong>of</strong>entrepreneurial action to improvequality <strong>of</strong> life and standard <strong>of</strong>living for people in need. Theyfrequently organise informationsessions and activities on campus,with a recent successful campaignbringing awareness to the benefits<strong>of</strong> car sharing.Our students won the inaugural2013 GE Challenge Malaysiauniversity competition by applyingtheir technical skills and businessacumen to come up with anenergy efficient system to promotesustainability and deliver costsavings for residential, commercialand industrial developments.
