TorresB.S. accounting 1986, was the20<strong>04</strong> Distinguished Alumnusfor the College of Business andPublic Administration. Adam isthe U.S. Marshal for the CentralJudicial District of <strong>California</strong>.As the top official for the U.S.Marshal's Service in this district,Adam oversees a seven-countyarea, representing 18 millionresidents. He is responsible forproviding protection for all federalcourthouses in the CentralDistrict, transporting federal prisoners,protecting federalwitnesses, managing assets seizedfrom criminal enterprises, andapprehending federal fugitives.Previously, Adam worked forthe Internal Revenue Serviceas supervisory special agent forCriminal Investigations in LosAngeles. While with the IRS,Adam made presentations to<strong>CSUSB</strong> students and representedthe agency at the university'scareer fairs. ▲Fall/Winter 20<strong>04</strong>Were you involved in astudent club?
