Rozie playedin soccer for CSUSB from 1992 to 1996, andranks third on the Coyotes' career goals-scoredlist. She was a three-time All-CCAA selectionand All-West Region Academic Female ScholarAthlete of the Year. Prior to going to UC Davis,she was assistant coach on the Indiana StateOlympic Development program for soccer.Angela T. Eldon oversees the day-to-day operations of bothdistricts, including compliance, regulatory development, engineeringand air monitoring.DistinguishedAlumni Awards2004Kent PaxtonB.A. English 1972, B.A. sociology1978, M.P.A. 1989, was namedthe 2004 Distinguished Alumnusfor the College of Social andBehavioral Sciences. Kent hasdedicated himself to improvingthe quality of life for children inSan Bernardino County. Since1974, he has worked with thecounty in its Mental Health andChild Protective Services departments.In 1988, Kent was namedto head the Children's Network,which organizes the countywideeffort for services for kids deemedat risk. Under his leadership, theChildren's Network today is recognizedas a model throughoutCalifornia for improving communicationand coordination among themany agencies that serve at-riskchildren and their families. ▲Eldon also serves as an adjunct professor in CSUSB's healthsciences department and has been instrumental in securinginternships for CSUSB students in his district.
