The hosts increased the lead to41-25 by the intermission.In the second half, GSU could get no closer than14 points.“We felt like we could have played better and hada better showing but this is the first time for us hereand I think our players undertsand what the level ofcompetition is about when you get to this point, andhopefully we’ll be back and better prepared,” <strong>Georgia</strong><strong>State</strong> head coach Lea Henry said.Tech shot 47.8 percent from the field in the contest,compared to 34.0 percent for its guests. The MidwestRegional first and second rounds are being hosted byNorth Carolina <strong>State</strong> <strong>University</strong> at Reynolds Coliseum.After three early lead changes, top-seed Duke (32-1)took a 24-14 lead with eight minutes left in the firsthalf. From there, <strong>Georgia</strong> <strong>State</strong> (20-11), the No. 16seed, went on a 13-5 run to get to within 29-27 withjust under two minutes remaining. Additional informationand photographs are available to accreditedmembers of the media through the <strong>Georgia</strong> <strong>State</strong>Sports Communications office. Allcredentials for home games will be made available forpickup one hour in advance on game day at Will Call,located at the first floor lobby table in the front of thebuilding, across from the elevator. Prior to one hourbefore tipoff, credentials may be picked up in the sportscommunications office. Media parking is available on alimited basis and requests must be made in advance.Media ServicesUp-to-date game notes and statistics, along withroster cards and media guides, will be made availableprior to each home game. A complete NCAA BasketballBoxscore and the play-by-play account of the gamewill be provided and will be online. Halftime box scoreswill be distributed to each media representative duringthe intermission and flash statistics will be madeavailable to each radio and/or television crew duringtimeouts. CharlieTaylor.On the RadioFollow The PanthersAll Panther games, both at home and on the road, arebroadcast live on 100,000-watt WRAS Radio, 88.5 FM(some contests may be heard on a tape-delay basis if thereis a time conflict with a <strong>State</strong> men’s basketball game).Panther Sports Talk will air 30 minutes prior to gametime and will lead into the pregame show, featuring CoachHenry, which will begin 15 minutes prior to tipoff. Henry willagain be interviewed after the conclusion of the contestduring the post-game show.<strong>Georgia</strong> <strong>State</strong>’s women’s basketball play-by-play announceris Drew Hinesley. Former player Kelcey Roegiers-Jensen will work some games as the color analyst.
