Install an air regulator tocontrol the operating pressure, insure smooth operation andconserve energy.LUBRICATION: All valve components have been lubricated at thefactory and can be operated without additional air line lubrication.Minimal lubrication may extend the life of the valve. 50 Series, E-Series and K-Series Valves use o-ring seals. For maximumperformance and life expectancy, standard air line lubrication shouldbe used. If air line cylinders or other air line devices, used inconjunction with ARO valve, require lubrication, be sure thelubricating oils used are compatible with the valve seals and are ofsufficient viscosity to assure adequate lubrication. Aro recommendsan oil lubricant with a viscosity of 100-200 SUS at 100° F and anairline point above 200° F.NOTICE: The use of compound oils containing graphite filters,extremely low viscosities an other non-fluid lubricants is notrecommended.RECOMMENDED: Aro 29665 air line lubricator oil is available inone quart containers.General InformationWarningCAUTION: Compounded oilscontaining graphite and fillersare not recommended for usewith cylinders.The following are hazards or unsafe practices which could result insevere personal injury, death or substantial property damage. Heedthe following. Use safeguards. Insure that provisions are made toprevent the valve from being accidentally operated (actuated.)Hazardous Air Pressure. Shut off, disconnect and relieve anytrapped air pressure from system before performing service ormaintenance.Hazardous Voltage. Do not attempt any service withoutdisconnecting all electrical supply sources.NOTICE: Genesis Series Valves must be grounded.Do not use the valve as a safety device or to operate or control theoperation of full revolution clutch systems or brake systems onpower presses or similar equipment. These valves are not intendedfor such applications. Do not subject the valve to any condition thatexceeds the limits set forth in the specifications for a particular valvemodel. Keep all hoses, electrical wiring, fittings and connections ingood working condition. Damaged air pressure hoses, electricalwiring, or connections, could cause accidental valve operation(actuation). Only allow qualified technicians to install or maintain thevalve system.
