It will equip you tof<strong>in</strong>d employment with management prospects <strong>in</strong>general bus<strong>in</strong>ess or to cont<strong>in</strong>ue yourprofessional or academic studies <strong>in</strong> a relatedarea.This is a stand-alone qualification but there areentry requirements.Candidates who have passed any <strong>ABE</strong> <strong>Level</strong> 4<strong>Diploma</strong> (<strong>QCF</strong>) or <strong>ABE</strong> <strong>Level</strong> 3 Certificate (NQF)are eligible to take this qualification.Other applicants must have obta<strong>in</strong>ed one of thefollow<strong>in</strong>g:Two level 3 passes (‘A’ level standard)A level 3 qualification, or above, as notified onthe NQF or <strong>QCF</strong> of the United K<strong>in</strong>gdom oroverseas qualifications, as judged by UK NARIC,to be equivalent <strong>in</strong> standard to a level 3qualification <strong>in</strong> the UK (or higher). Suchqualifications should entail a similar number oflearn<strong>in</strong>g hours to that of the <strong>ABE</strong> <strong>Level</strong> 3Certificate or <strong>Level</strong> 4 <strong>Diploma</strong> and <strong>ABE</strong> reservesthe right to reject such qualifications if they aredeemed to have <strong>in</strong>sufficient subject relationship.Applications from candidates who, although nothold<strong>in</strong>g a formal entry qualification, have been <strong>in</strong>appropriate employment for at least two years,will be considered on their merits.
