DRAFT INTEGRATED GENERAL REEVALUATION REPORT <strong>II</strong> AND SUPPLEMENTAL ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT STATEMENT JACKSONVILLE HARBOR, DUVAL COUNTY, FLORIDALEAD AGENCY: Jacksonville District, U.S. Army Corps of EngineersJacksonville Harbor is located in Duval County, Florida. Jacksonville Harborconsists of 27 river miles starting at the mouth of the St. Johns River where itempties into the Atlantic Ocean, the study focuses on the portion of the Harborup to river mile 20. The harbor project provides access to deep draft vesseltraffic using terminal facilities located in the City of Jacksonville, Florida. Theprimary concentration of port facilities on Jacksonville Harbor is between mile 8<strong>and</strong> 20 of the Federal navigation project. The study results in recommendationsfor navigation improvements.The Federal objective of water resources planning is to contribute to NationalEconomic Development (NED) consistent with protecting the nation’senvironment, in accordance with national environmental statutes, applicableexecutive orders, <strong>and</strong> other Federal planning requirements.For more information, contact Paul Stodola, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Planning Division, P.O.
