StudentsSupport of the Royal Far West School continuedonce again in 2011. The P&C donates to this serviceevery year and supports the services offered tochildren from remote communities. Children fromthese communities attend the city for medicaltreatment and it is often the first time they havebeen to a city.It has become customary for the members of theP&C to hold an annual teacher morning tea. This isan initiative of P&C members to show the staff atBHS how much they are appreciated for all theeffort they put into the education of our children. This year, teachers and staff were presented with aslide show titled Teacher Thank You and this wasvery much appreciated by the teachers and staff. Iheard there were even a few tears. The canteen is the major source of funds throughthe P&C and these funds are donated directly to theschool to enhance the learning environment of BHS.This year the P&C donated funds for equipment andasked Mr Robinson to put forward his wish list forany future needs of the school. I would like to thankall the volunteers who help out every day in thecanteen. Continued support by volunteers is vital tothis service. Finally, many thanks to the teaching staff, officestaff and ancillary staff for their continued serviceto the school. Our children are very fortunate tohave such dedicated and supportive people in theirlives.Louise Reid, PresidentStudent representative’s messageThis is where it’s all decided - the StudentRepresentative Council (SRC).
