För varje motorgörs dels en statisk beräkning som tar hänsyn till vikt ochviktfördelning, dels en dynamisk beräkning, som tar hänsyntill en mängd andra faktorer.För den speciellt intresserade, beskrivs i diagrammet (se nästasida) varje isolators statiska egenskaper. Generellt skall maneftersträva en statisk komprimering av 3 mm för typ 50210,4 mm för 50220, 5 mm för 50230 och 6 mm för 50240.OBS! Det är långt ifrån ovanligt att en motorupphängning,t ex beroende på viktfördelning, består av 2+2 isolatorer medolika hårdhet.Selecting the correct rubber grade and mount for a particularengine or generator is a skilled task. The chart (se next page)shows how much deflection (or squash) will occur on eachmount and each rubber hardness given a specific weight onthe mount. A general guideline will be 3 mm on the 50210,4 mm on the 50220, 5 mm on the 50230 and 6 mm on the50240. Each size comes with at least three differenthardnesses. A 50221 mount is the 50220 model with numberone rubber hardness, and so on.Some engines, particular those with less than four cylinders,require extra care when dimensioning the mounts.Blad nr / Sheet no16-1
