Hisfather couldn’t be happier forhis son.“Nick was so excited toreceive a <strong>Teamsters</strong> <strong>Local</strong> <strong>25</strong>scholarship,” Paul Kupchaunissaid. “He workedextremely hard to make thedean’s list and that makes mefull of pride. I really appreciate<strong>Teamsters</strong> <strong>Local</strong> <strong>25</strong>.”Jimmy Vesey, son of memberAnn Vesey, won the goldmedal in the World JuniorHockey Tournament in Russiaon Saturday, January 5.American amateur hockeyplayers chosen to representthe USA in the tournament.Vesey, while on holiday breakfrom Harvard University,spent almost three weeksaway from his family throughChristmas and New Year’sDay to represent our country.“We are very proud ofJimmy,” said Ann Vesey. “Hehad to miss the holidays withus, but in the end it all paidoff when he won the GoldMedal for Team USA.”Jimmy called representinghis country on Team USA a“dream come true.” Harvarddoes not have a dean’s list, butVesey ended his first semesterwith an A-grade average.Both Vesey and Kupchaunisare freshmen at theirrespective colleges.“As the President of <strong>Local</strong><strong>25</strong>, I could not be any prouderthan I am of these two fineyoung men.
