A total of 49,335 casesof dengue were recorded with 112 deaths last year. In 2006, the dengue cases stood at 38,556 with92 deaths. Factors contributing to the increase included the lack of financial resources and limitedmanpower to initiate prevention activities.Jabatan Audit Negara31
