3115 Auditors RemunerationThe audit fee payable to the Audit Commission duringthe year totalled £537,800 (2005-06 £516,000).Notes to the Financial <strong>Statement</strong>s16 Agency ActivityThe Authority has an agreement with the Association <strong>of</strong>Chief Police Officers (ACPO) whereby the MetropolitanPolice Service (MPS) is responsible for administeringfunds on behalf <strong>of</strong> ACPO Terrorism and Allied Matters(ACPO TAM) for <strong>2006</strong>-<strong>07</strong>. This agreement arises asthe Assistant Commissioner Specialist Operations isthe Chair <strong>of</strong> ACPO TAM.The MPS disburses monies to other police forces forwork performed as directed by ACPO TAM.A summary <strong>of</strong> expenditure incurred in respect <strong>of</strong> theactivity, which is not included in the Authority’s Incomeand Expenditure Account is as follows:<strong>2006</strong>-<strong>07</strong>£’000Income (90,638)Special grant paid 2,409Expenditure - revenue 86,445Expenditure - capital 251Other expenditure 1,519The balance <strong>of</strong> the ACPO TAM funding for <strong>2006</strong>-<strong>07</strong>has now been returned in full to the Home Office whoprovided the funding. From 20<strong>07</strong>-08 onwards theHome Office will provide ACPO TAM funding direct toindividual forces.
