<strong>For</strong> <strong>Academic</strong> <strong>Year</strong> <strong>2012</strong> <strong>Students</strong>(Please refer ‘On Demand Online Examination Instructions’)Online Examination:Online Examinations will be conducted from 1 st to 27 th of every month (result of the same willbe declared officially on 10 th of next month).Exam Fee Payment:Online Payment Gateway: Student can pay exam fees through online by Clicking on “PayOnline” option. Fill your details as asked in payment option i.e. Name, Address, paymentmode list as desired: credit /debit /net banking along with card number. On successfultransaction, the Fees will be credited in our a/c in the next 5 working days. Slot bookingfor the paid subjects will be released in your Student Centre login after 3‐4 working daysfrom the paid date.Demand Draft: <strong>Students</strong> can send/submit exam form along with Demand Draft (ofapplicable exam fees) to <strong>SCDL</strong>, Pune.Cash Payment: <strong>Students</strong> can pay exam fees in ‘Cash’ at <strong>SCDL</strong> Cash Counter Pune, alongwith the exam form.Exam Slot Booking: Exam slot booking is available on ‘First‐Come‐First‐Serve’ basis.‘Online’ Payment of exam fees: (Online payment facility will be made available by June <strong>2012</strong>)1. Online transactions will be approved by <strong>SCDL</strong> within next 2 working days (from theDate of online payment is done)2. Only After approval done by <strong>SCDL</strong>, students can proceed for Exam Slot Booking.3. Student can schedule the exam with a gap of one day after the online payment isapproved by <strong>SCDL</strong>. <strong>For</strong> e.g. If student has paid exam fees ‘Online’ using the Debit/CreditCard on 1 st April, <strong>SCDL</strong> will approve the transactions on 2 nd April. Once the approval isdone, the student can proceed for exam slot booking on 2 nd April and can scheduleexam/s for 4 th April. However, student can schedule exam/s for available dates, on orbefore 27 th of same month and next month also.4. If student does not schedule exam/s in the same month of exam fee payment doneonline or exam fees paid by DD/Cash and exam form got processed in the system, theexams can also be scheduled for 1 st to 27 th of next month.5. In case, student does not schedule the exam/s in same month of exam fees paid, examscheduling access will be available in the next month, also. Student can schedule exam/sfor the available dates of same month (please refer point No. 3 above) & for 1 st to 27 thof next month also. (To schedule exam/s in current month and next month ‐ the examslot booking validity will remain between 1 st up to 29 th of current and next month‐ on the basis of exam fee payment and exam form processing in the system) If student does not schedule exam/s within the slot booking validity, are liable tore‐pay exam fees to re‐appear the subject/s. (Please refer Point No. 5 above)
6. <strong>Students</strong> who wish to appear for exam in the same month i.e. on or before 27 th , the lastdate to pay exam fees online is 24 th of same month and the exam scheduling has to bedone on 25 th of same month (after approval is done by <strong>SCDL</strong> – Please refer point no. 3mentioned above) to schedule exam on 27 th .7. <strong>For</strong> the exam fees paid online or by DD/Cash, from 25 th till 28 th of any month, theexam/s can be schedule for 1 st to 27 th of next month.The slot booking will be available till 29 th of every month, up to 6.00 p.m.The slot booking will not be available on 30th/31st of any month. Payment of exam fees through Demand Draft / Cash :1. Exam forms along with exam fees received at <strong>SCDL</strong> will be processed within next 4‐5working days and exam slot booking will be released, thereafter.2. Student can schedule the exam with a gap of one day after the exam form is processedby <strong>SCDL</strong>. <strong>For</strong> e.g. If student has paid exam fees by DD/Cash on 1 st Sept, <strong>SCDL</strong> willprocess the form on 2 nd Sept and student can proceed for exam slot booking on 3 rd Septto schedule exam/s for 5 th Sept. However, student can schedule exam/s for availabledates, on or before 27 th of same month and next month also.3. If student does not schedule exam/s in the same month of exam fees paid by DD/Cashand exam form got processed in the system, the exams can also be scheduled for 1 st to27 th of next month.4. Student who wish to appear for exam/s on 27 th of same month, must ensure that dulyfilled exam form along with applicable exam fees by DD/Cash is received at <strong>SCDL</strong> on /before 24 th ( up to 4.30 p.m. only) of same month and must complete the examscheduling activity on 25 th of same month , to schedule exam on 27 th.5. Student whose exam form is received & processed by <strong>SCDL</strong> from 25 th till 28 th of anymonth, the exam/s can be schedule for 1 st to 27 th of next month only and can not beschedule for same month.6. In case, student does not schedule the exam/s in same month of exam fees paid, examscheduling access will be available in the next month, also. Student can schedule exam/sfor the available dates of same month (please refer point No. 3 above) & for 1 st to 27 thof next month also. Important Note: Those students who have paid full fees and have confirmed admission statusare allowed to appear for the online examination. ‘Availability of exam slots is on “FIRST COMEFIRST SERVE BASIS”. <strong>Students</strong> are requested to take print out of the hall ticket immediatelyonce slot booking is done. <strong>Students</strong> are requested to book exam slots within 3 working days,after the exam fee details have been uploaded by <strong>SCDL</strong> on its web site, to avoid the nonavailabilityof slots. The exam slot booking access will be released thereafter. (e.g.:‐ If student has sent the duly filled online exam enrollment form to <strong>SCDL</strong> 1 st to24 th any month, after updating the online exam details in the data base, student cando exam slot booking online till 25 th for 27 th of the current month ( with a gap of 1day )and during 1 st to 27 th of next month .5) On the basis of exam form processed in the system, if student does not book exam sloton or before 29th of the same month, then exam slot booking will be released onceagain from 1 st to 29 th of next month. Exam slot booking can not be done after said duetime period.6) <strong>Students</strong> whose exam form with due exam fees are received at <strong>SCDL</strong> after 29 th till30 th /31 st of that month, for such students’ data will be uploaded on the web site on 1 stof next month (excluding ‘Weekly Off’ & ‘Govt/Institute Holidays’) for current and nextmonth from the date of uploading of online exam data on <strong>SCDL</strong> web site, for subjectsapplied & wish to appear.7) If a student has paid the online exam fees, but does not book the exam slot during slotbooking due time period (as explained in point # 4 above) or does not attempt/remainabsent in the online examination though exam slot booking is done, he/she will haveto re‐pay the online exam fees for re‐booking of same subjects.8) <strong>Students</strong> who have booked the exam slot but not appeared or have attempted theonline exam but failed, can re‐apply not attempted/failed subject/s only after official

(Hall Ticket duly signed by invigilator is provision to acknowledgepresence in exam centre and will not be consider actual exam attempt)4. <strong>Students</strong> are not allowed to bring Digital Diary, Cell Phone, Pager, Palmtops & Jewelleryetc. in the examination hall. <strong>SCDL</strong> or the exam centre is not responsible for thesafekeeping / loss of your belongings. Incase a student is found using the Cell Phone, thesame shall be confiscated and the student shall be debarred from the examination. AllCell Phones should be switched off during the examination.5. <strong>Students</strong> are warned not to use any unfair means in the examination hall. If any studentis found resorting to unfair means, he / she will be debarred from the examination andthe course.6. Smoking is not allowed in the campus area. High standards of discipline have to bemaintained during the examination sessions. Defaulters will be dealt with strictly.7. Note: ‐ The online exam is an objective type of examination and has to be attemptedusing computers provided in the Exam Hall. <strong>Students</strong> are assumed to have basicknowledge of using a computer such as scrolling up & down, some typing, clicking withmouse etc., In the event of any force Majure due to which the student is unable toattempt the exam in his/her slot or at the exam hall, <strong>SCDL</strong> will make requiredarrangements for such student(s) to reattempt the exam at another convenientdate/time at no cost to the student (s). <strong>For</strong>ce Majure are described as natural disasters,sudden / unexpected failure of electricity / computer, hardware & software, local unrest/ riots etc.,8 Procedure of Online Slot Booking: ‐‣ Once the exam details have been processed in the system, students can start theexam slot booking.
‣ Please note online examinations are conducted between 1 st to 27 th of every month(Excluding National Holiday, Govt. Holiday, Centre Weekly Off i.e. Tuesdays &Sundays).‣ Availability of Exam Slot is on First Come First Serve Basis.‣ To book exam slot, students are required to put their Login Id & Password in thestudent centre & click on “Book Exam Slot” tab.‣ After clicking on “Book Exam Slot” tab, students can see the online exam detailsupdated in the system for the respective subjects they have applied.‣ Please Click on “Book Your Exam Slot” placed below exam details ( to start actualslot booking )‣ <strong>Students</strong> can select the fields from the drop down list e.g. Name of Subject, Country,State, Centre, Date & Time Slot ( please note it takes certain time to go to the nextoption after selecting any field )‣ Once the selection process of all required field is completed, a pop–up window willdisplay the details of the slot booking you have done i.e. the required fields youhave selected at the time of slot booking. ( if any changes to be made in the saidselection, click on “Cancel” back to go to previous page again )‣ Click on “Confirm”, to store the slot booking details in the system permanently.Once the student clicks on “Confirm” button, slot booking details can not bechanged, cancelled or re‐scheduled, under any circumstances‣ To avail the required date, time slot & Exam Centre as per the choice, <strong>Students</strong> mustdo the exam slot booking within 3 working days (after the data uploaded on slotbooking page). Please refer Point # 2, mentioned above.‣ Exam Fees are non refundable & non transferable.‣ Exam Slot Booking will not be available on 30th & 31st of any particular months.(Student can start slot booking again from 1 st of next consecutive month after10.00 a.m.)‣ In case, student does not book the exam slot (during the stipulated period) orremain absent in the online exam even after the slot booking is done, students arerequired to re‐pay the exam fees for the re‐booking of same subjects again. Examfees paid are non refundable & non transferable.‣ <strong>Students</strong> should take print out of Hall Ticket immediately after the slot booking isdone.‣ You will not be allowed to appear in the online examination without Hall Ticket and<strong>SCDL</strong> Identity Card. ( In case, of you unable to take print out immediately, make sureto take print out of hall ticket in due course of time, without waiting till the actualexam scheduled date )‣ Print out of Hall Ticket can be taken only between 1st to 29th of every month.‣ Please attach your latest pass port photo on the hall ticket.‣ Please carry your Exam Hall Ticket & your <strong>SCDL</strong> Identity Card with you to the examcenter. No other proof of identity shall be accepted. The exam centre representativeis not responsible to admit you in the exam centre, if you fail to carry your <strong>SCDL</strong>Identity Card.9.
