182 MINUTES-OF THE SYNOD OF THEdue consideration we recommend: -1. That the proceedings of the firstthree days of* eachsession shall consist of the exercises connected with the organizationof Synod, the presentation of reports and papers requiringreference to standing and special committees, and the reportof the Committee on Unfinished Business.All other matters claiming attention will then follow inregular order as indicated in the schedule herewith presented.The schedule recommended is as follows:1. A sermon by the Moderator, constitution of the Court,completing the roll of members, the election of officers, adoptionof the report of the committee oh Devotional Exercises.2. Reports of Boards, Synod's Board of Trustees, ForeignMissions, Domestic Missions, Jewish Mission, Church Erection,Control.3. Reports of Boards and Treasurers: Sustentation, Superintendentsof the Theological Seminary, Witness, Temperance,Women's Association, all Treasurers.4. Reports of Committees, etc. Covenanter Members ofthe National Reform Executive Committee, Synod's FinancialAgent for National Reform, Unfinished Business.5. Reports of Boards, etc. Corporators of Geneva College,Trustees of Geneva College, Mission Conference, Presbyteries.6. Miscellaneous Reports; Reports of secretary of YoungPeople's work, Evangelistic Work or Secret Societies, BudgetCommittee, Stated Clerk of Synod. Papers may be presentedat each of the above meetings.7. Reports of Committees; on Bible-reading folders, Signsof the Times, Psalmody dr Systematic Beneficience, the Sabbathor Sabbath Schools.8. Reports of Committees; On Discipline, National Reform,Traveling Fund, Special Committees.9. Reports of Committees: Foreign Missions, Home Missions.10. Reports of Committee on Theological Seminary andGeneva College, Supplies, Records of Presbyteries.11. Reports of Committees: On Finance, Foreign Correspondence,Miscellaneous Matters.II. That all matters shall be disposed of as far as possiblein accordance with the above schedule. Items not so disposedof shall take their place on the docket to be considered at suchtimes as will not interfere with the schedule.III. That Miscellaneous matters introduced the firstthree days of Synod, unless they can be disposed of withoutdiscussion, shall be either placed on the docket or referred toappropriate committees.IV. That the clerk of Synod in co-operation with Mr. J. W.Pritchard shall prepare and have published each year previousto the meeting of Synod a Blue Book containing the Order dfBusiness arranged in accordance with the above schedule, the
