38of the weekends off scheduling obligations of the Collective Agreementany), she will receive premium payment of time and one-half (1 ½) <strong>for</strong> allhours worked on that weekend. Time worked on that weekend will not beconsidered when determining future such premium obligations.(b)Premium pay is payable whenever a weekend is worked in excess of theconsecutive weekends permitted by the Collective Agreement unless theassignment of the weekend shift to the employee was initiated by thatemployee or unless another provision of the Agreement makes it clearthat premium pay is not due.16.10 The Employer is not required by the seniority scheduling provisions of theCollective Agreement (if any) to assign work to senior employees that triggerspremium pay. In the event that any such assignment would trigger premium payand the Employer chooses to assign the shift to an employee, the seniorityscheduling provisions (if any) shall apply.This provision is applicable to all of Articles 15 and 16 except <strong>for</strong> 16.02.16.11 Employees shall not be scheduled or required to work in excess of normallyscheduled hours or days without her consent.ARTICLE 17 – BENEFITS17.01 The Employer shall continue to provide to participating eligible employees in theactive employ of the Employer, the same Health and Insurance benefitscoverage on the terms as in effect on the date of the award, including the samepremium cost share and co-insurance arrangements.Effective 30 days following the issue of the award, life insurance benefitscoverage will be increased to two times (2x) the employee’s annual salary.The Employer will maintain a health care spending account <strong>for</strong> Employees at thesame levels, and on the same terms and conditions, as in effect on the date ofaward.17.02 The Employer shall provide to each person covered by group benefits a copy ofthe current in<strong>for</strong>mation booklets <strong>for</strong> those benefits provided under this Article,either by hard copy or on-line. The Union shall be provided with a current copyof the Master Policy. It is clearly understood that the Employer's obligationpursuant to this Collective Agreement is to provide the insurance coveragebargained <strong>for</strong>. Any problem with respect to the insurer acknowledging orhonouring any claims is a matter as between the employee and the insurer. TheEmployer will notify the Union if it intends to change the Insurance Carrier.17.03 The Employer may substitute another carrier <strong>for</strong> any of the <strong>for</strong>egoing groupbenefits plans, provided that the level of benefits conferred thereby are notdecreased. The Employer will advise the Union of any change in carrier at leastsixty (60) days prior to implementing a change in carrier.17.04 The Employer agrees, during the term of the Collective Agreement, to contributeon behalf of participating eligible full-time employees who have completed three(3) months of employment in the active employ of the Employer towards theYEEHG01.C14
