Although well educated,Paul had many pressing weaknesses. One of them was a painfulphysical ailment which he asked God to remove (2 Corinthians12:7–8). God responded to Paul: “My grace is sufficient for you,for my power is made perfect in weakness” (2 Corinthians 12:9).The apostle then wrote:Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about myweaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That iswhy, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults,in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I amweak, then I am strong. (2 Corinthians 12:9–10)Like the apostle, let us glorify the Lord in all we do and say.
