Merit cum Means <strong>Scholarship</strong> Scheme for Students belonging to Minority community(CSS).—This <strong>Scholarship</strong> is for the Minority students belonging to (Muslim-13,Sikh-8,Christian-1,Budhhist- 8 ,Total =30 ).The annual income <strong>of</strong> the parent or guardian <strong>of</strong> thebeneficiary should not exceed Rs. 2.50 Lac from all sources and student should not haveless than 50% marks. Financial assistance will be given to pursue degree and/or Postgraduatelevel technical Pr<strong>of</strong>essional courses from recognized institutions.9. Post–Matric <strong>Scholarship</strong> Scheme to Students belonging to Minority Community(CSS).—This <strong>Scholarship</strong> will be given from XI to Phd. Level in Govt./recognized privateschool/college/institute including technical/vocational cources for the Minority studentsbelonging to (Muslim, Sikh,Christian, Budhhist and Parsi ).The annual income <strong>of</strong> the parentor guardian <strong>of</strong> the beneficiary should not exceed Rs. 2.00 Lac from all sources and studentshould not have less than 50% marks in the previous final examination. Student must passthe examination from Govt./Govt.-aided institutions.10. Pre-Matric <strong>Scholarship</strong> Scheme to Students belonging to Minority Community(CSS).—This <strong>Scholarship</strong> is for the Minority students belonging to (Muslim-250, Sikh-160,Christian-20,Budhhist-160 Total –600 students).The annual income <strong>of</strong> the parents orguardian <strong>of</strong> the beneficiary should not exceed Rs. 1.00 Lac from all sources and studentshould not have less than 50% marks in the previous final examination. The <strong>Scholarship</strong>will be awarded for students in India in a Govt. or private School from class 1 to class 10th.11. Centrally Sponsored Scheme <strong>of</strong> <strong>Scholarship</strong> for College and University Students(CSS).— This is a new CSS on the basis <strong>of</strong> (50% boys, 50% girls) implemented in the year2008-09 through H. P. Board <strong>of</strong> School <strong>Education</strong> Dharamshala for Post plus two studentswho secured 80% and above marks in 10+2 class. HP Board <strong>of</strong> School <strong>Education</strong>,Dharamshala invites the application forms <strong>of</strong> eligible students and sent direct to GOI,MHRD, New Delhi.12. Maulana Azad National <strong>Scholarship</strong> Scheme for Meritorious Girls Studentsbelonging to Minorities.—This <strong>Scholarship</strong> is being given to 18 meritorious girl studentsbelonging to Minority community (Muslim—08, Sikh-04, Christan-02, Bhudhist-04Total=18 students) who secured 55% and above marks in Matriculation Examinationconducted by the H.P. Board <strong>of</strong> School <strong>Education</strong>, Dharamshala and the family income <strong>of</strong>the student from all sources should be less than Rs. 1,00,000/-(Rupees one Lac only).Theamount <strong>of</strong> scholarship will be Rs 12000/- which will be released in two installments <strong>of</strong> Rs6000/- each. The first installment will be released after sanction <strong>of</strong> scholarship and thesecond installment will be released when the student will submit pro<strong>of</strong> <strong>of</strong> passing class 11 thand seek admission to12 th class in the <strong>of</strong>fice <strong>of</strong> the institution.13. Inspire (CSS).—At present the scheme is being implemented at the level <strong>of</strong> Elementary<strong>Education</strong> i.e. upto 10th class. In this regards Director, Elementary <strong>Education</strong> has issuedinstructions to all the Deputy Directors <strong>Higher</strong>/Elementary <strong>Education</strong> <strong>of</strong> the State.14. National Means-cum-Merit <strong>Scholarship</strong> (CSS).—National Means-cum-Merit <strong>Scholarship</strong>Scheme being started by Govt. <strong>of</strong> India, Ministry <strong>of</strong> Human Resource Development
