TarynGoth inspired Tutorial by DanaCreated for 2008 Tutorial MembershipGreetings! And welcome to the May/June 2008tutorial Membership doll. I must admit to workingon her (on and off) for almost 2 months beforefiguring everything out! This is the most work I’veput into a doll for a LONG time! POSE iseverything ... the skirt and jacket are relatively easy. The hair is the simplest ever!Lets get on to the tutorial - andHappy Creating!DANACREDITS:-Faery Lady Torso by Parker Levi-Hands by Dawn Adams(both molds sold by Jackie (House of Caron)-Rose by Carolyn RoachDOLL/KITS:-The original TARYN doll is for sale - because she is a tutorial sample - $95 plus shipping.-There are NO FULL doll/material kits available for her.-There are 6 doll and accessories kits available for $25. This includes painted doll w/extremetilted head (hands and boot feet); 3 color hair, and hand made rose by Carolyn Roach. Email mefor availability.*NOTES*1. Photographing a BLACK doll on a lighter background is VERY hard! THEN photographinga black doll with a shiny skirt and fur (dense) jacket is almost impossible . So I went withthe tutorial photos that showed as much detail for the area we were talking about.2. I am trying something NEW with this pdf tutorial! I will give the BASIC directions for eachsection. If you get overwhelmed easily — or are a beginner and just trying to make sense ofmaking a doll - simply read the basic directions until you are ready for more info.THEN under each section - I will put *NOTES*. This goes into more detail and explanation.Hopefully this is a compromise for beginners and advanced dolliers.

Inspiration:Victoria Frances - awesome Goth artist. *NOTE* I love ALLher work (minus the fangs and blood). The movement, poses, flowing dresses, accessories and hair are awesome!Pose Photos:I have a huge collection of pictures that unfortunately could befrom 10 years ago or yesterday. Sooo no information to creditcan be given. If this is your photo - email me and I will add youhere.*NOTES* ... Photo #1 shows the ratio of waist/hips and thighs (which was my biggest problem)Photo #2 - shows how the (forgive my language) crotch fits into the leg crossing. Photo #3shows the tilted leg in the actual correct body position.Material List:-Doll will tilted head, and fine arms. Victorian Booted feet.-LOTS of fimo to shape the under body-Shiny embroidered skirt material (I used synthetic)-Faux Fur jacket material (look in the miniature teddybear section online)-Tiny pieces of silk ribbon, beads, netting for hat)-3 Colors of Viscose (Black, blood red and med brown)-Faux fur trim for collar and cuffs
