She also takes a leading role in implementing electronic medicalrecord processes throughout the radiation oncology network, streamlining operations to benefitthe network’s 3,000 patients.In addition to her daily work, Meyer serves on the board of the Greater Pittsburgh chapter ofthe Oncology Nursing Society and serves as co-chair for the organization’s “Camp Raising Spirits,”an annual weekend getaway for cancer patients and their families.She earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Duquesne University and coordinates withDuquesne to provide clinical rotations for second-degree nursing students pursuing their BSNdegrees.
