The vulcanization is very strongly accelerated.Uncured compounds become plastified through Rhenofit B and are,consequently, easier to process. Rhenofit B activates thiazole, sulphenamide,thiuram and dithiocarbamate accelerators and their blends with the result thatthe dosage of basic secondary accelerators may be reduced accordingly. Thephysical properties of the vulcanizates, especially the tear strength anf theneedle tear resistance, are improved by increasing the dosage of Rhenofit B.The Shore hardness is considerably increased through Rhenofit B. Also,Rhenofit B has a positive influence on the ageing properties.Rhenofit B should be incorporated either together with the fillers or immediatelyafter.depending on the type of filler 1 - 5 %, calculated on the fillercoloured rubber articles based on natural and synthetic rubbers, e.g. soles,heals, bicycle tyres, cable coverings, technical rubber articles.Rhenofit B Version: 3/08.
