Your access code will beincluded on your statement or confirmation notification.4. What happens if FACTS attempts to process my payment and there are notenough funds in my account? Should an automatic bank payment or credit cardpayment be returned, a $25 FACTS Returned Payment Fee will be automaticallycharged to your account for each occurrence. You will be notified by FACTS of thereturned payment via mail or e-mail. For a payment scheduled for the 5 th of themonth, the reattempt will occur on the 20 th ; for a payment scheduled for the 20 th , thereattempt will occur on the 5 th of the following month.LATE PAYMENT POLICY<strong>Fenwick</strong> maintains full decision-making control even though we utilize FACTS for thetuition payment processing. As always, we will continue to work with families shouldspecial circumstances or Ahardship@ cases arise prior to or during the school year.Please contact Ms. Sharon Bolden at 708/948-0344 immediately if you need to discuss yoursituation.Students with delinquent accounts may not be allowed to attend classes and/or sit forsemester exams until tuition is current. If an extended period of time has elapsed whilethe <strong>student</strong> is out of class, the relationship between the <strong>student</strong>=s family and the schoolwill be terminated.All fees, fines and uniform returns must be resolved before the <strong>student</strong> may sit for final exams.$ Withdrawal after June 15 th but before the first day of school, all money paid willbe refunded except the deposit amount, currently $950.$ Withdrawal after school starts but before the beginning of the second quarter,three quarters of the yearly tuition will be refunded.$ Withdrawal after the end of the first quarter but before the beginning of the thirdquarter, half of the yearly tuition will be refunded.$ Withdrawal after the end of the second quarter but before the beginning of thefourth quarter, one fourth of the yearly tuition will be refunded.$ Withdrawal after the beginning of the fourth quarter, there is no refund.Any questions regarding this policy should be directed to the Director of /Finance.TUITION EXCLUSIONAt specific times during the school year, a <strong>student</strong> with a significant outstandingbalance may be excluded from school until arrangements are made between a<strong>parent</strong>/guardian and the Business office. Because prior notice of exclusion was given,any <strong>student</strong> who reports to school on the first day of exclusion will be sent home, aftera <strong>parent</strong>/guardian can be reached. When the <strong>student</strong> returns to school, he/she is toreport to Student Services and obtain an admit slip before going to class. Days ofabsence due to exclusion are considered excused.Parents with an outstanding balance will not be allowed to enroll younger siblings at <strong>Fenwick</strong><strong>High</strong> <strong>School</strong>.TUITION REFUND POLICYThe funding for <strong>Fenwick</strong> <strong>High</strong> <strong>School</strong> comes from tuition and the generosity ofalumni/alumnae, school families and friends. It is the responsibility of the schooladministrators to budget the funds available to best serve the <strong>student</strong>s. The school can acceptonly a limited number of <strong>student</strong>s because we do not have room for all who apply.When a <strong>student</strong> is accepted at <strong>Fenwick</strong>, it is assumed she/he will remain at <strong>Fenwick</strong> for the fullschool year. Teachers are hired and classes are scheduled based on the anticipated number of<strong>student</strong>s who enroll for the current school year. Nevertheless, we recognize that there will becircumstances that will lead to a <strong>student</strong> withdrawing from <strong>Fenwick</strong>. A <strong>student</strong> who leaves<strong>Fenwick</strong> before the end of the school year and whose tuition is paid in full will be eligible for thefollowing refund:$ Withdrawal before June 15 th , all money paid will be refunded except thenon-refundable amounts.-56--57-
