Studentswhose original set of photos were unsatisfactory may have their pictures retaken, and proofs will be provided to families before orders are placed.Halloween CostumesAt this time of the year, we would like to provide some comments regardingHalloween costuming. In a number of the younger classes, our students wearcostumes to school on October 31 st and parade to other classes. In almost allsituations, the costumes have been in good taste. In a few instances, however, masks and costumes that show blood and gore were worn to school. These becomequite offensive, especially for the younger students. We ask that costumes worn toschool be in good taste and that those depicting blood and gore be left at home. Wealso remind you that no toy weapons can be brought to school. Thank you for yourconsideration in this matter. We want to keep this event positive and fun for thechildren.Sincerely,COMMUNITY NEWSAlan Wiebe,PrincipalLFES FUNDRAISING OPPORTUNITYThe Willowbrook Shopping Centre is holding WHITE HOT TUESDAY again this year(last year it was called Denim Do), but like last year it is an exclusive shopping event forticket holders featuring huge and exclusive discounts at all the mall outlets, liveentertainment, food, and thousands in prizes and giveaways.
