Professional PracticesHolidaysCheekwood is closed to the public on New Year’s Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, andthe day of the Swan Ball (the second Saturday in June). Cheekwood is closed on Mondays,except Memorial Day and Labor Day. Please check with the Volunteer Coordinator regardingscheduling on or around the holidays.InjuriesIf an injury occurs, please call the Security Department immediately at 354-6386. The Securitystaff will respond with the necessary first-aid and reports.SmokingSmoking is prohibited at Cheekwood.AttireIt is important that volunteers dress appropriately for the task they are performing. For alltasks except Art Activities Assistants and Garden Volunteers, a professional appearance andbusiness casual attire is required. Volunteers are encouraged to wear comfortable shoes.
