Silent Auction (for bids made at the event):
• The bidder’s name, bid number and amount must be entered on the bid sheet.
• New bids must be entered on the next available line. New bids must be in whole dollars and
must exceed the prior bid. All bid sheets will state a minimum bid increment. A bid sheet may
not be removed from its place on the table.
• The Silent Auction categories will close between 7:00- 7:20 p.m. Please plan your bidding
accordingly!
Live Auction
• The Live Auction will commence at 8:00 p.m. sharp.
• Assigned bid numbers must be used when bidding. Please raise your bid paddle so your
number is visible to the auctioneer.
• The highest bidder acknowledged by the auctioneer will be the winning bidder. In the event
of any dispute, the auctioneer will determine the winning bidder.
• All action items are available for pick-up in the Clearing Room the night of the event (7 p.m.-
midnight), and the next morning from 10 a.m. to noon.
Restriction/Item Value:
• All items are sold “AS IS”. The item or items you purchased by being the successful bidder
are not warranted and/or guaranteed by BCE. Any dispute or claim arising from the purchase
is between the donor and the successful bidder. BCE recommends that you verify the value,
use, restriction and expiration dates as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. BCE is not
responsible for any items or events after the winning bidder has purchased them.
• Some of the items sold are subject to mutually agreeable times by the purchaser and donor
on a space available basis. Please make reservations for specifi c dates as soon as possible to
avoid disappointment.
• The payment of the auction price in excess of the item’s fair market value may qualify as an
income tax deduction or as a charitable contribution to BCE Foundation.
• Burlingame Community for Education Foundation is a 501(c)3 charitable organization.

Prize Drawing:
• Prize Drawing tickets are available from a BCE Foundation representative during the evening
for a suggested donation of $20 each or six for $100.
• Fill out name, address and telephone information and return the completed ticket to a Prize
Drawing representative.
• Winning ticket names will be drawn during the evening’s festivities. Need not be present to win.
