Dear <strong>Burlingame</strong> Friends,<br />
Welcome to Mardi Gras! Please, grab your masks, throw a string or two of beads, kick up<br />
your heels and celebrate! This is a night to parade your fi nest and revel in the merriment of<br />
friends and community.<br />
We have much to celebrate here in <strong>Burlingame</strong> – a safe and vibrant town, rich in history with<br />
a long tradition of excellence. Our public schools are the jewel in the <strong>Burlingame</strong> crown and<br />
we celebrate the wonderful community support <strong>for</strong> public education.<br />
Let’s raise our paddles high. Our goal tonight is to raise $250,000 to ensure our children get<br />
the individual attention that small classes provide, to enable the District to deliver an<br />
enriched, well-rounded curriculum and to support quality instruction in our classrooms.<br />
Your attendance and generous donations throughout the year help to close the gap between<br />
minimal state funding and the high-quality education we believe all children deserve.<br />

Welcome to the 30th Annual BCE Dinner Dance and Auction! We hope you enjoy a fun evening<br />
of Mardi Gras delights<br />
The <strong>Burlingame</strong> Chamber of Commerce is proud to partner with and support the <strong>Burlingame</strong><br />
<strong>Community</strong> <strong>for</strong> <strong>Education</strong> Foundation in raising much needed funds <strong>for</strong> the <strong>Burlingame</strong><br />
Public Schools. BCE is a success because <strong>Burlingame</strong> parents, educators, community members<br />

State budget cuts and ever increasing needs, coupled with an already under-funded system<br />
make your generous support of BCE even more critical this year. The funds BCE raises here<br />
tonight go directly back to your children to ensure quality instruction, an enriched curriculum,<br />
and low class sizes. We strongly believe that BCE’s ongoing donations are vital to our<br />

Rombauer is known <strong>for</strong> its award-winning Chardonnays. The 2009 boasts a rich and vibrant<br />

with creamy vanilla. This full-bodied wine has a velvety and lingering mouth feel.<br />
2008 Expressions Gaps Crown Vineyard Chardonnay<br />
Scoring 91 points from Wine Enthusiast, this wine is from Penngrove, CA, on the Sonoma<br />
Coast. After 11 months in barrel, the wine is bottled without fi ning or fi ltration. The result of<br />
this process is a Chardonnay that exhibits great fruit and fl oral characteristics, while maintaining<br />

2006 Expressions Pinot Noir Pinot Zena Crown Vineyard<br />
Scoring 93 points from Wine Spectator, this is a Pinot Noir from from the Eola-Amity Hills<br />
AVA in Oregon. Bottled in September 2009, the graceful, elegant Pinot Noir shows off beautiful<br />
fruit, an earthy complexity and beautiful structure.<br />

The 2005 Fotinos Vineyard Pinot Noir is an elegant wine with aromas of raspberries, cherries,<br />

2006 Artesa Cabernet Sauvignon<br />
