Tool Certification to DIN ISO 9001CertificationIntroductionAPrecision tools by Weidmüller are in use all over the world.This is a responsibility Weidmüller takes seriously, offeringcomprehensive services to support this global use.Tools in daily use should always guarantee consistentprocessing quality even after many working cycles. This iswhy Weidmüller offers its customers the “Tool Certification”service. This technical testing procedure is Weidmüller’swarranty for the functionality and quality of its tools.The following pages provide a summary of our current rangeof services.

Tool Certification to DIN ISO 9001CertificationRegular quality checks of Weidmüller processing tools andthe assemblies made with them guarantee optimum safety.In order to keep it that way and to prevent possible machinestoppages during production, regular maintenance and precisetool calibration is simply indispensable.AIn order to receive a certified tool, customers have the optionof either returning an existing Weidmüller tool for re-certification,or of purchasing a certified Weidmüller tool on submitting anew order.Certification includes:• Conductor extraction force testing according to relevantDIN regulations• Issue of a test certificate with corresponding identificationnumber and allocated customer number• Recommendation for the next certification date; specialtesting intervals available on requestA.3
