He is agraduate of UCC where he obtained aBSc in Finance, Economics and Business.Dave will have responsibility for companyreorganisations and restructuring,personal & corporate tax planning,succession planning and revenue audits.Johnson & Perrott Motor Group has justannounced the appointment of a newChairman of its Board of Directors. TheCompany, which was founded in 1810, hasappointed Mr Harry Lorton as a Non-executiveDirector and he will become Chairman on theretirement of the group’s current Chairman,Mr Seamus Scally, in June. Harry will bring awealth of experience and knowledge to theBoard. He is the former CEO of Cork & LimerickSavings Bank and of TSB Bank. He managed themerger and integration of TSB into the bankingarm of Irish Life & Permanent plc, developingPermanent TSB into one of Ireland’s top threebanks. Internationally, Harry served on theBoard of Royal Liver Assurance in Liverpoolfor five and a half years. He served as DeputyChairman for two years and now chairs theRoyal Liver Assurance Sub-fund with the RoyalLondon Group. He serves as a Non-executiveDirector of ICS Building Society (part of Bank ofIreland Group) and is a member of the NationalCompetitiveness Council.Harry Lorton, Chairman Johnson & PerrottConall Mac Aongusa, Transport & InnovationConall Mac Aongusa, Director ofTransport and Innovation Ltd, has beenelected as Chair of the Council of theAssociation for European Transport(AET) for a term of three years. He waselected at the recent meeting of theCouncil hosted by the Department ofTransport Tourism & Sport. He is thefirst Irish person to hold this position.The Association for European Transport(AET) is Europe’s leading organisationfor transport professionals for over 40years. It hosts the annual EuropeanTransport Conference (ETC) eachOctober, to be held in Frankfurtfrom 2013 -2015. ETC is the premiertransport conference for policymakers,practitioners and academicresearchers providing a forum fornetworking and information sharingon transport issues at a European andglobal level.
