Formal and informal language.Review the coloursVerbs in Present Tense: Llamarse, ser, trabajar & vivir.Verb To be: Ser and EstarNext Wednesday 9 th and Thursday 10 th of October they will be assessed on Criterion D: Writingand Criterion A: Oral Communication.In Phase 3 our Unit is called Foods. Our Unit Question is: How can I best survive in a foreignland?Our Significant Concept is: Learning the basic language leads to better independence and ourArea of Interaction is also taken from Health and Social Education: Food is an important part ofour cultures.During this Unit the students will:• Learn the vocabulary: meals, mealtimes, food names• Make shopping lists• Review the correct use of articles and adjectives• Learn phrases used when shopping and when in a restaurant.• Describe their favorite food• Analyze and follow a recipe.• Write a recipeNext Wednesday, October 9 th , they will write their first Assessment on Criterion D: Writing.
