The consultationalso <strong>in</strong>dicated that <strong>the</strong> energy <strong>in</strong>dustry is fac<strong>in</strong>g some fundamentalrecruitment issues.This course is designed to provide a comprehensive practice-basedmanagement education to those currently work<strong>in</strong>g <strong>in</strong> or wish<strong>in</strong>g towork <strong>in</strong> an energy management context. You will cover upstreammanagement education for oil and gas, susta<strong>in</strong>able energy andrenewable energy and <strong>the</strong> <strong>in</strong>terface and opportunity between <strong>the</strong>se<strong>in</strong>dustries. To facilitate this, <strong>the</strong> degree offers two dist<strong>in</strong>ctive routes:Oil and Gas <strong>Management</strong> and Renewable Energy <strong>Management</strong>.The course will focus on <strong>the</strong> management areas with<strong>in</strong> oil and gasand renewable energy and will provide underp<strong>in</strong>n<strong>in</strong>g knowledgeof operational and management aspects of bus<strong>in</strong>ess decisionmak<strong>in</strong>g expos<strong>in</strong>g you to current academic and practitioner debates<strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> energy sector. The course will offer a complete perspectiveof energy management from upstream oil and gas through torenewable energy across different geographic regions.The course offers underp<strong>in</strong>n<strong>in</strong>g core energy managementmodules, strategic analysis modules and a wide selection of energymanagement electives plus an energy management project.
