The theme ofthe contest was “What Does it Mean to Go Green?”The Grades K-3 /Students designed a poster.Category 2 Grade 4-6 students wrote poems in response tothe theme .Ms. Zeig and Mrs. Portelli judged the school participants andsent three from each category. The talkingpolice car spoke to our studentsin grades K-3 about how to besafe and smart pedestrians.With the assistance of ourlocal police department, Ottoexplained to the students the importanceof WHERE to cross the street, lookingALL ways and many other safety tips.
