„SCHMETTERLING“ System
The work process
Transport
Right from the beginning the base
plate of the electric enclosure is fi xed
to the handling aid and can be moved
on rollers in every state adjustable.
Assembly
On the horizontal plate components
get mounted. The height can easily be
adjusted by the fi tter her-/himself.
Wiring
Vertical or in any slope the base plate
is easily accessible for wiring. The
quick height adjustment brings every
area in an ergonomic working height.
Testing
With four guide rollers fast and easily
pushed into the test bay, the switch
board base plates are accessible for
inspection from all sides.
Mounting
The populated base plates often have
an enormous weight. With a crane the
plates can easily be taken from the
horizontal position for fi nal assembly in
the enclosure.

Wide range of accessories
The „SCHMETTERLING“ (German word for „butterfl y“) system has got a height and a slope adjustment from 0° up to 90°.
The main issue of this system is the trouble-free adjustment of the working height and slope to always be able to work on
the mounting plate in an ergonomically correct body position.
The system is available in four base versions:
1. Mechanical-pneumatic height adjustment, manual slope adjustment.
2. Electrical height adjustment, manual slope adjustment.
3. Electrical height- and slope adjustment, for medium loads up to 200 kg.
4. Electrical height- and slope adjustment, for heavy loads up to 400 kg.
Each version is available in different widths.
The system is mobile with 4 guide rollers, out of which 2 are lockable.
The pivoting frames with aluminum profi les are specially designed for frequently changing sizes of the plates.
Various adaptors for the mounting of the switch cabinet base plates make the SCHMETTERLING fi t for every demand.
