He still has 25pounds to go, but he has “done about10 triathlons.”The qualities that Salonique Adolphe(’01) demonstrated as a student wereused to the fullest as he worked withthe Living Water Church of Gonaives,Haiti to recover from the hurricane thatdevastated that part of the island. FredGreen of Kirksville is his forwardingagent. He and Jan made a trip to Haitiin early February. He reported athrilling attendance of 390 on February6 for the second anniversary of thecongregation, the pouring of a newconcrete roof on the school building,and approximately 20 baptisms whilehe was there.John Wright (’01) and Carrie(Howell, Att.) have moved and havebegun to serve the Lord through thechurch in LaMonte. Bruce Sneed(Att.) and Susan (Jett, Att.) had been atLaMonte, and have now moved tobegin a ministry with the church in HillCity, KS.Stan (’02) and Misty (Anselmi, ’00)Rodda sent an end-of-the-year letterwith pictures of their family. They toldof their move from Milan, MO to thechurch in Petersburg, IL. Just to staybusy they also welcomed Ashton intotheir lives.As of December 1, 2004 Phil Marley(Att.) became the StewardshipCoordinator for Show-Me <strong>Christian</strong>Youth Home of LaMonte. In lateDecember he was ordained into thisministry by the Parkview <strong>Christian</strong>Church of <strong>Central</strong>ia. Theresa (’02) isemployed through Boone Clinic andworks with Dr. Lindall Perry, a brotherof Michael Perry (’03) who nowpreaches for the Countrysidecongregation in Kirksville.A women’s group in Taiwan had justfinished praying about an apartment forAllen (’01) and Cherry (Fagen, ’04)Messimer. The telephone rang, andthe message was that they “had anappointment in half an hour to see anapartment.” An hour after seeing theapartment the telephone rang again,and the message was that they had anapartment. The Messimers havealready shared their apartment withseveral guests. Language study iskeeping them very busy.Josh (’04) and Susan (Brower, ’04)Sanchez have transitioned to a newwork in the country of Mexico. AsJosh returned to Honduras one last timehe was able to be a part of graduationceremonies for several young menwhom he had been teaching. TheSanchez’ are now working under theauspices of Outreach International.The name of their mission is “Me &My House Outreach,” and their e-mailaddress is mmhoutreach@hotmail.com.New ArrivalsProfessor/GrandpaWilliam Waltonprovided theinformation thatJudy (Walton,’89) and RonGrotjan becamethe parents of theirsecond child onDecember 7. TrentMichael arrived weighing “8 poundsand 2 ounces, and is 21 inches long.”The Grotjans live in Kissimmee, FL.A note from Ann (Cousins, Att.) andDave Mason (’97) said that they “hadanother arrival on November 10, 2004.Lily Anna blessed us with her arrivalweighing 8 pounds, 3 ounces.” Shejoins three siblings. Dave continues topreach at Elmer in addition to his workin the Control Center of the prisonsouth of Moberly. Ann also finds timeto attend some classes at MACC.Nolan DavidWalker became amember of theJerod Walkerfamily (see theirreport above) onJune 7. Heweighed 9 lbs 5ounces and was 211⁄2 inches long.Nolan has an older brother who is five,and twin sisters who are three.Zechariah Daniel Rhyne arrived onSeptember 21. His parents are Noelle(Lakin, ’02) and Travis Rhyne.Zechariah weighed 9 lbs, and was 20 1 ⁄2inches long. The Rhynes live in theKansas City area.The newestmember of theSteve Rowland(’02) family isEvan Zane, bornon January 17,weighing sixpounds, andmeasuring 18 1⁄2inches. Steve andMandy (Erickson, Att.) have been in ayouth ministry in Fairfield, IL sinceSteve’s graduation. Evan has threeolder siblings to help keep their parentsbusy.Mackenzie Faith arrived on March 29,2004 into the family of Eric (’04) andChrista (Franke, Att.) Harland. Thenew arrival weighed 7 pounds 9ounces, and she was 21 1 ⁄2 inches long.Eric and Christa were members of thegraduating class of 2004, so it was aspring in which many changes weremade.Jesse (’04) andJulie (Butts, ’04)C o l b u r nwelcomed NatalieSunrise onDecember 12,weighing 8 lbs.,and measuring 191⁄2 inches. Theyhave also started acampus ministry at the University ofArizona, back in their home state.Honorary AlumniElva Snyder (Att.) sent a card to saythat she has “good days and not-sogooddays.” Her request is that herfriends “Drop me a line or give me acall.” She resides in the CommunityCare Center, 325 W. 7th St., Stuart, IA50250, and her telephone number is515-523-1449. We will get a feel of what it is liketo work in a closed country. We’ll be working on the grounds.They have a garage they are going to convertinto a bakery, which will generate income forthe home. We will be doing <strong>Bible</strong> lessons atorphanages and at a gypsy village.We are going to Puebla to hold vacation <strong>Bible</strong>school, the guys will do preaching, and we will allget to know the kids. We will be there for 3-4days.
