Corrective Colouring with Infinti Erase ItTo ensure all colour pigments have been removed from the hair carry out the colour detector phase.Method – Detector Phase1. Use 15 - 50ml of 3%, 10vol Infiniti Developer and apply to erased area.2. Leave for 5 minutes, if at any stage the hair darkens, rinse and apply Infiniti Erase It again.3. Rinse thoroughly.4. If hair turns darker after the detector application it is likely that not all the colour pigments have been removed. In this case repeat the applicationprocedure.Re- Colouration1. Apply colour on damp or dry hair.2. After the colour removal process the hair will absorb colour pigments easily, therefore it is recommended to use 1 – 2 shades lighter than thedesired shade.3. In the case of very porous hair, distribute the colour on the lengths and ends for approximately 5 - 10 minutes, visual processing is vital to ensurethe hair does not become too dark. Full processing times are not always necessary after an Infiniti Erase It application.4. The developer selection is determined by the new shade applied.a) Same depth and adding colour - Use 6%, 20vol Infiniti Developerb) 1-2 shades lift - Use 9%, 30vol Infiniti DeveloperIt is always advisable to use 9%, 30vol when re-colouring with a Violet or Mahogany tone.Note: The use of Infiniti Permanent Arctic Blondes is not recommended after an Erase It application. If a lighter result is required use Infiniti Lite ‘n’ Up orInfiniti Powder Lite.It is not recommended to use Infiniti Satin Tone on Tone products after an Infiniti Erase It application.page 21
