12-5 <strong>Safety</strong> <strong>Talks</strong>--Look behind you before backing up. Something may be there nowthat wasn’t there a few minutes ago.--Treat blind corners and doorways as “stop streets.” Running thesestop signs is just as much a hazard as doing it on a city street.--Don’t drive your truck up to anyone who is standing in front of abench or other fixed object. If your brakes fail, it won’t be a verypretty sight.--Don’t allow people to stand or pass under the elevated portion ofyour truck, whether it is loaded or empty. If they don’t listen, tellyour supervisor.--Stunt driving and horseplay are never permitted. This is aworkplace, not a playground.If you follow these rules you should be able to avoid accidents andprotect fellow employees.
