Breaking into the startingfive was Frank Russ who hit well from theoutside all year, and Horace Kearny cameback for another year at starting guard.Bob Oliver, Jim Wishmeyer, and MosesBrewer backed the starting five consistently.Although hopes were high for a bid to NIT,the Pioneers lost in tight balloting by theselections committee.
