Jesus givesthe answer, “Think not that I am come todestroy the law, or the prophets: I am notcome to destroy, but to fulfill. For verily Isay unto you, Till heaven and earth pass,one jot or one tittle shall in no wise passfrom the law, till all be fulfilled. Whosoevertherefore shall break one of these leastCommandments and shall teach men so, heshall be called the least in the kingdom ofheaven: but whosoever shall do and teachthem, the same shall be called great in thekingdom of heaven” (Matthew 5:17-19).Christ declares how The Law and The Prophets cannot,and will not, be destroyed until all is fulfilled.How long will it be before God builds a New Heavenand a New Earth? That question involves prophecy,my friend. Not only is The Law not done away, buteverything The Prophets foretold must come to pass aswell. Jesus answers, very clearly, the question aboutThe Law. As The Prophets foretold, parts of The Laware prophecy and therefore must be fulfilled. As theyare fulfilled, they no longer apply to those who havecompleted what The Law or The Prophets foretold.
