Michael Anthony’s herd wasdeveloped using pure Accoyo genetics, and it is this careful matching of genetics that has producedsuch an attractive female. This is very robust female, with tremendous substance of bone, idealproportions, and the all-important body capacity needed in our breeding females, presents as near aperfect phenotype as you are likely to find. It is no surprise that her fleece qualities match herphenotypic standards, being soft to hand, with excellent uniformity of fine fleece across the body, avery pleasing architecture and all of this allied to good staple length and brightness. Constance is anoutstanding coloured girl with the only difficult decision being if she is light brown or dark fawn! Wehave called her light brown but many might argue!Constance comes to the market pregnant from one of our Blue Blood males, Alpaca Stud Nyetimber.Nyetimber is now a senior male who during his show career has garnered over 25 broad ribbonswhich we believe is more than any other alpaca in Europe, and he is a grey! This year however ourconfidence in him was vindicated when he gained the accolade of British Alpaca Futurity ChampionHerdsire. His progeny have spoken for him and Constance will be one of only a few Snowmass girlsto carry his genetics.
