The2010 programme is a mix of many styles andgenres, from the abstract and experimentalto established classics, and gives you theopportunity, regardless of your age, to seefilms that you might otherwise never get thechance to see.This year’s schedule includes choice selections ofacclaimed international shorts and features from thefestival circuit, special guest screenings and the verybest in new student animation from around the worldselected from our own Animex Awards, so you can besure of some fantastic entertainment.The week begins with the Features for Familiesscreenings at Cineworld on Sunday 7 Februarywhere kids can bring their parents and watch theirpick of a selection of fine films free of charge.Along with our usual line up of festival favourites,family features and exciting new work from the AnimexAwards, audiences will be able to view a collection ofabstract and experimental work from the Punto YRaya Festival in Spain.The screen programme this year also sees thewelcome return of the British Animation Awards toAnimex.
