Loreto Marcelino, generalmanager of Peninsula Electric Cooperative(Penelco), said that theper kilowatt hour rate is down byalmost P2, which will reflect onthe July billing statements of theirconsumers.“For June billing residential rateis 9.1916 pesos per kilowatt hour,down by 1.69 pesos per KWHRcompared to last month (May). Itwill further reduce for July billingby 35 centavos per KWHR due tothe operation of GN power plantlast May 27.
