Campus NewsThe More Things Change, The More They Stay The Same.Campus Traditions Continue...Mass On CampusAloha DanceThe Aloha Dance is a long held <strong>Garces</strong> <strong>Memorial</strong> tradition and thisyear’s was held August 25th. It was a great way to welcome ourincoming freshmen and returning students. Do you remember yourfirst Aloha Dance?Bishop’s MassBishop John Steinbock and local priests conducted the annualBishop’s Mass on campus on September 10, 2007, the same date ofthe first Mass held 60 years earlier to commemorate the opening of<strong>Garces</strong>. After Mass, the Peer Counselors held a reception in theFireside Room for the Bishop and the priests to thank them. Howmany school Masses did you attend while at <strong>Garces</strong> <strong>Memorial</strong>?Sadie Hawkins DanceThis year’s Sadie Hawkins Dance was held November 17th and thestudents came dressed as their favorite storybook character.
